T.V. Carpio is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She is best known for her role in the film "Across the Universe" where she played the character of Prudence alongside Jim Sturgess and Evan Rachel Wood. Carpio has also appeared in the Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" where she played the character of Arachne.
In addition to her acting career, Carpio is also a talented singer and has released music both as a solo artist and as part of the band T.V. Carpio & The All Stars.
Carpio was born Teresa Victoria Carpio in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and has Filipino and Chinese ancestry. She grew up in Indonesia and Hong Kong before moving to the United States at the age of 14. Carpio has appeared in various films, television shows, and stage productions throughout her career and continues to be a versatile and talented performer.
